Kanpur which is one of important industrial city of Uttar Pradesh, has now connected by modern rapid trasport system kanpur metro. This project was developed by Uttar Pradesh  Metro Rail Corporation.It was ingurated by Prime Minister shree Narendra Modi on 28 December 2021. The main purpose of kanpur metro is to provide fast,safe and eco-friendly modern transport system to the peoples of Kanpur.

Kanpur Metro Route and Maps Details

According to kanpur metro map, its phase-1 is divide into two major corriodors
  • Red Line - IIT Kanpur to naubasta, total length approx 24 km
  • Blue Line - Chandrashekhar Azad Agriculture University to Jaurali, total distance about 9 km

kanpur Metro Ticket price 2025

Kanpur metro price is fixed according to distance. Metro fare starts from minimum Rs.10 to  maximum upto Rs.30 , only for operational route of prrsent time, it may be extend in future. Passengers have to option to travel in kanpur metro etiher by taking windows ticket or smart card. Smart card is good option for passengers because they have not stand in que for ticket. Passengers have option to book ticket by ATVM.
